The six strong acids that you should remember are
#HCl#
#HBr#
#HI#
#H_2SO_4#
#HNO_3#
#HClO_4#
Any other acid that you see you can consider a weak acid.

For strong bases, any hydroxide (#OH^-#) is considered strong. The base has better solubility if it is in a 1:1 ratio with the metal that it is bonded to.

For example, #Ca(OH)_2# is not as soluble as #NaOH# .
