Explanation:
Apart from the three basic states of solid, liquid and gas there is a state called plasma which is essentially a super heated gas. In stars it is the only state of matter. It is quite common even on earth like lightning,neon lights etc.
There is a fifth state also called Bose-Einstein condensate which occurs at very low temperatures (close to absolute zero).
