Mass it the amount of matter in an object. while density is a measure of the tightness of the molecules packed in an object.
mass is given by the relation: m=F/a
density is given by: rho=m/V where rho is the greek letter rho and is used to denote density.
Mass has the Si units Kg while density is measured in Kgm^3
