Is it possible to get "rewards" with karma points like others websites offer, like goodies (stickers, mug) or the month member?

Thanks for asking this, Ewan!

We love sending treats to Socratic's awesome contributors!

We have t-shirts, totes bags, and stickers (you can see the t-shirts on founders Chris & Shreyans at the bottom of this answer on Socratic's origin story) that a bunch of our contributors wear and share with pride.

We don't tie these goodies to karma points, however. Instead, we send them out—often as a "surprise and delight"—once contributors have become true pillars of the community by:

  • Writing great answers
  • Embodying the Socratic mission through their interactions on the site
  • Evangelizing this mission to new folks on Socratic through welcoming & mentorship
