Solid, liquid, gas.
But there are a couple of others considered that are out of the realm of most textbooks. The super hot or plasma (lightening, northern lights, etc.) and the super cold, such as Bose–Einstein condensates and the super dense neutron-degenerate matter. There are also a couple of theoretical states....not important right now, since they are only theoretical.
