$\Rightarrow \sin x = \frac{1}{2}$

Now plot the graphs of ${y}_{1} = \sin x$ and ${y}_{2} = \frac{1}{2}$ on same graph paper ; the point of intersections of both the graphs ($i e .$ ${y}_{1} = {y}_{2}$) will be the solutions to the equation $2 \sin x - 1 = 0$.
